Sightings for Friday November 13th

A possible ROCK SHAG, a South American species, was seen at Meares Island
near Tofino on the West Coast of Vancouver Island. For more information on
this sighting, please call Adrian Dorst at (250) 725-1243. In local
sightings, a PRAIRIE FALCON was seen in trees along the dike north of the
Roberts Bank jetty. Two CATTLE EGRETS were at 72nd Street and 36th Ave. in
Delta. Reifel had two PEREGRINE FALCONS, seven BARN SWALLOWS, a CLIFF
SWALLOW and two SWAMP SPARROWS.

Thirty SNOW BUNTINGS were along the Tsawwassen Jetty and four CRESTED MYNAHS
were at 2nd and Wylie in Vancouver. Beach Grove in Tsawwassen had two
MARBLED GODWITS and a PEREGRINE FALCON was seen at Boundary Bay Regional
Park

Sightings for Thursday November 12th

Two CATTLE EGRETS were in a field north of 36th Ave at 72nd street in Delta.
Two MARBLED GODWITS and 23 BRANT were at Beach Grove in Tsawwassen. Eight
BLACK TURNSTONES and a possible ROCK SANDPIPER were at the end of the
Tsawwassen Jetty. In a late report for Wednesday, three LEAST SANDPIPERS
and an immature NORTHERN SHRIKE were at Blackie Spit.

Sightings for Wednesday November 11th

A possible BLACK DUCK was seen at the end of the Tsawwassen Jetty on the
south side. Two CATTLE EGRETS were in a farmyard at 72nd Street and 36th
Avenue in Delta. Eleven EURASIAN WIGEON were at Roberts Bank. Another six
birds were at Beach Grove in Tsawwassen, along with two MARBLED GODWITS, 40
LONG-BILLED DOWITCHERS and six GREATER YELLOWLEGS.

A LONG-BILLED CURLEW and two MARBLED GODWITS were at Blackie Spit.
