Twice in the last week I have observed a MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE in my yard
in Bellevue. He or she was mixing with both black-capped and
chestnut-backed chickadees. This is the first time I've ever seen one
anywhere in the Puget Sound area. Hugh Jennings indicated this is a
rare sighting.
