Hi, Tweets
I just found out that the owl has been "removed." (After going out and
buying faster film!!) My feeling is that there was no reason to do so.
The owl, as Brian stated, seemed perfectly healthy, had been seen eating
the night before, and was not acting strangely in any way. I should
comment that I have done a fair amount of rehabbing - I know, that doesn't
mean much. I still think that wherever these young owls wander to is part
of life. It certainly wasn't being threatened by anything at all this
morning. It was ignoring the crows and the few people wandering around
photographing it. I guess my opinion is that it should have been left
alone to follow its own instincts - but hard to do in this world's
concerned society.
