Hi! Had always associated dippers with fast-running streams in AZ and WA
until a few years ago when one simply walked up out of quiet water at Dog Lake
near White Pass ! And just lately, at Clear Lake in the same general area,
there were three near the shoreline with one singing nearby!! Of course,
these sightings are at a considerable altitude and not at sea level. Will be
interested to hear of any further sightings like yours.
