If this is about birders being inconvenienced then I'm in total agreement.
I think we need to steer clear of the lifers/listing issue. That can, and
has been a whole other thread. This all started out as a question of what
was best for the bird and I think that's still what this should be about.
Disagreement doesn't hurt my feelings. Some of you have done so and I
appreciate that this hasn't degenerated into personal attack like a
previous issue. I still believe what was done was wrong, but I respect
this forum and hope that it will continue to be one where we can hold
important discourse on issues such as this.
