TWEETS,
My son-in-law, who is also a birder, has just arrived for Thanksgiving week.
In discussing which birds we could try for, he expressed a desire to see
SKYLARK. I wish I had known before as someone from Vancouver Island had just
put an excellent summary of where they could be found at the present time.
Perhaps that person reads this list regularly and could repost that message.
Someone who is better organized may have saved the post and could forward it.
I am also interested in where you can find them on San Juan Island - is it
English or American Camp? That bird would be good on my WA list. Any
information on how to find them in November when they are not singing would be
helpful. Do you look for them in hedgerows or on lawns, etc., etc. I would
think there might be enough general interest to post it to the entire list but
perhaps the list is more interested in discussing bridge lighting, wisdom of
capturing errant owls or creation.
