There just may be something happening in that regard. In the last part
of October I encountered a MOUNTAIN CHICKADEE at Crow Butte State Park on
the Columbia River in southwest Benton County and then a week later found
one at Lyons Ferry Marina on the Snake River in northwest Columbia County
and two more just across the river at Lyons Ferry State Park in east
Franklin County.
