After having a conference with Sandy. We have decided that this bird did NOT
have any red color in the tail as I noted at the web site. It has a barred
tail and that is why I called it a Redtail.

Too many photos--too many birds--too many trips--oh my head hurts--I can't
think straight--so what else is new? :-)

Sooo what kind of hawk is it?
