Saturday, November 21, 12:26 PM. Hello, my name is Kathleen Wolgemuth. I live
in Ocean Shores overlooking Bill's Spit on the bay side, the harbor side. My
telephone number is (360) 289-2004. I just spotted again another BAR-TAILED
GODWIT. I was just down very close to it with my scope just to make sure.
There were 18 MARBLED GODWITS and one BAR-TAILED GODWIT which was just
slightly smaller than the MARBLED GODWITS. It had that distinctive pale
grayish type of stomach, a bicolored bill, the legs were a little bit shorter
and gray and it was a BAR-TAILED GODWIT. So that's it. I've been gone for a
week so I haven't had a chance to look. This was on an incoming tide from
about an hour and a half until high tide was approaching.

Saturday, November 21, 1:01 PM. Hi, this is Branch Grissom(?) (206) 329-4194.
I just want to report that today, November 21, Saturday at 12 PM, I saw a
BROWN PELICAN on Alki Point at Alki Beach Park. It was in amongst a flock of
GLAUCOUS-WINGED GULLS. Good luck and good birding. Good-bye.

Saturday, November, 21, 6:56 PM. Hello, this is Kevin Gessay with a belated
report. I'm a visiting birder from California and yesterday the 20th, Roger
Marlow and I had a gray phase GYRFALCON. This was in Okanogan County. It was
about 5 miles northeast of Tonasket along the Tonasket-Havillah Road. We first
saw it on the west side of the road along the fence line. It was along side a
pasture which had a couple of OSTRICHES, interestingly enough, and then it
flew over to the east side putting on quite a show for about 15 minutes before
it flew off to the east. Also, today, November 21st, we had one LAPLAND
LONGSPUR in with a flock of HORNED LARKS and this was on Highway 2
approximately 3 miles west of Winthrop. That's all. Good luck and good
birding. Bye, Bye.

Sunday, November, 22, 12:15 PM. Hi, Sam Terry (206) 329-9038. Today at about
11 o'clock there was at least one SCRUB JAY at the Washington Park Soccer
Field near the Arboretum. That's it. Good luck and good birding.

Sunday, November, 22, 8 PM. Hello, this is Kraig Kemper (206) 789-9255,
reporting for a birding trip to Eastern Washington Saturday, November 21 and
Sunday morning the 22nd. Saturday in Douglas County we birded the Waterville
Plateau and at Atkins Lake where we observed 60 SNOW BUNTINGS. At the
intersection of J northeast and 8 northeast we observed 3 male SAGE GROUSE in
a stubble field just southeast in the corner there. Traveling from there east
on 8 northeast towards Heritage Road we ran into a smaller flock of 15 SNOW
BUNTINGS. On Road, I believe, 172nd, heading west from Heritage Road towards
Mansfield in a large flock of HORNED LARKS we observed one more single SNOW
BUNTING. Sunday morning in Grant County at the northeast corner of Soap Lake
we observed a pair of OLDSQUAW DUCK.
