Thanks to all who responded with amazing detail and exactitude to my SKYLARK
request. This is the great beauty of TWEETERS. The drawback is that it
encourages the lazy among us to ask first rather than building our own library
of information.
We found another friend who had not seen SKYLARK and were planning on which
day to go. However, as the storms came in the popularity of an expedition in
the rain seemed to wane. The present plan is to try this spring (or maybe the
year after as my son-in-law will be retiring next month and they are planning
to go to South Africa - perhaps this spring). Yes, I did get the message that
one should not delay too long and it might well already be too late to find
them on San Juan Island. Perhaps Paul and I will go this spring even if
Russell goes to South Africa.
At any rate, I am saving the information very carefully,
