Sightings for Saturday, November 28

The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was seen at Finn Road and Woodward slough in
Richmond again today. The bird is frequenting yards behind the houses along
Finn road. Two male YELLOW-HEADED BLACKBIRDS were in a large mixed flock
of blackbirds at Finn Road and No 3 Rd.

A CATTLE EGRET was at 72nd and 36th in Delta. Two Short-eared Owls and a
PEREGRINE FALCON stooping on a very large flock of Dunlin were at the foot
of 72nd. A MERLIN was at 72nd and highway 10 and another MERLIN was near
Lighthouse Park in West Vancouver. Two SNOW BUNTINGS were along the Iona
South jetty and a CASPIAN TERN was at the end of the jetty. Also at Iona
were a Black Turnstone and 2 Short-eared Owls.

Reifel had an AMERICAN AVOCET, a NORTHERN SAW-WHET OWL, 8 BARN SWALLOWS, 3
CLIFF SWALLOWS, a VIOLET-GREEN SWALLOW, a MERLIN, a PEREGRINE FALCON, a
BLACK-CROWNED NIGHT HERON and a SWAMP SPARROW.

A WILLET was at the base of the Tsawwassen Jetty and a GRAY-CROWNED ROSY
FINCH was on the north side of the jetty. Eight Black Oystercatchers were
at the mouth of Cypress Creek.

Sightings for Friday, November 27

A Greater White-fronted Goose was seen in Glenn Valley in the Fraser
Valley. 440 Brant were in Boundary Bay and a Townsend's Solitaire was seen
near Arthur Drive in Ladner.

Sightings for Thursday, November 26

An AMERICAN WHITE PELICAN was seen in Eagle Harbour in West Vancouver and a
BROWN PELICAN was seen from the tip of the Iona South Jetty. Also on the
South Jetty were two SNOW BUNTINGS. The NORTHERN MOCKINGBIRD was seen
again in a yard in Richmond at Finn road and Woodward Slough.

A Brambling is coming to a feeder in Sicamous in the Interior and another
bird is has been seen five km East of Vernon.

A BARRED OWL was in a yard near Boundary Creek in south Burnaby and a
LONG-EARED OWL was at Maplewood Flats. Blackie Spit had 3 MARBLED GODWITS
and a LONG-BILLED CURLEW. An AMERICAN TREE SPARROW was visiting a feeder
on the south side of the 2500 block in Vancouver.

In a late report for Wednesday, the Northern Mockingbird was seen at Finn
Rd and Woodward slough in Richmond.
