On a beautiful and remarkably sunny Saturday, Bruce LaBar, Marian Snyder,
Heather Ballash and myself explored Whidbey Island. The most unusual
sighting was of an immature Brown Pelican feeding on the Herring balls
between the Hastie Lake Road access and Swantown. A few other highlights
