Sound like incoming Snow Geese Chen caelurescens, Cliff--right sound, right
on schedule, and night makes no difference to them. Should hear them when
they arrive in low cloud and fog, circling...

Incidentally, Ken Klimko mentioned to me that Reifel Refuge in Ladner BC had
6 Snow Geese last weekend, the first birds back there this fall.
