Wow,

I am surprised that there is only one confirmed nesting record for
Washington. Wassink's Birds Of The Pacific Northwest Mountains, calls it
a rare breader in the Olympics and in North Cascades National Park. He
even has a couple of photos of birds sitting on the nest.

They gotta nest in the mountains, it is probably just that no one ever
finds the nests right?
