My wife and I went to the Okanagan this weekend and on a hike beside the Okanagan River, directly
east of the Burrowing Owl reserve, north of Osoyoos, we spotted a BLACKTROATED BLUE WARBLER. Our
National Geographic and Peterson's guide doesn't have them anywhere near this area. Does anyone
out there know of any other sightings of this bird? Peterson's says they have been spotted in
California and Oregon. We were in Ontario this Spring and saw one there and were thrilled at that
sighting, but this one has us mystified. Any information to help to confirm our sighting would be
appreciated.

See you in the field,
