Twenty miles to the north, the beach at Gearhart features peeps all
winter long. This beach has a supply of brown organic goo, of
unknown origin (to me), and whatever it is seems to lead to a food
source for shorebirds. Friends and I bought a house in this town
to remodel some time ago, so I became familiar with the beach last
winter, and this winter would like to check around to see if I can
find out the story on this goo.
