J. Small wrote in a message referring to the Kent Ponds, "They're referenced
constantly; where are they, exactly?"

Interesting question, as there are many places to bird in the area.

My gripe: why are the observation towers open only on Wed, Thurs, and Friday
from 10:00 to 4:00, and Saturday from 8:00 to 12:00?

Two of these towers are located off a paved trail parallel to and one block
north of 228th in Kent, just west of 64th. Must park now in a private lot,
but looks like paved lots are close to being finished. A third tower is off
the road to the west, which I don't recall the name of, but is reached by
taking 228th all the way to the west at which point the road narrows (almost
looks like it disappears) and turns north, paralleling the Green River on its
east bank.

Yesterday saw two red tails there, and multitudes of Canada Geese, mallards,
and robins, before rain cut short the trip.
