Took a short before dinner walk down to the beach here in Seahurst (Burien,
King County, WA) and spotted a few Horned and Red Necked Grebes, already in
winter plumage, a Common Loon which still had some vestiges of summer
plummage, and 4 Harlequin Ducks (3 males and 1 female) all brilliant. A
Hermit Thrush visted us from the bank above the shore, too.

It was a nice evening, especially since tomorrow is forecast to be rainy.
