Hi folks,

Jerry Smith and I spent most of the day wandering around Grays
Harbor - Damon Point and Bowerman Basin, with a stop at Vance
Creek Co. Park near Elma on the way back home to Olympia.
What a beautiful day to be out birding!!

We weren't doing gonzo birding, so missed some pretty common
birds - Chestnut-backed chickadees!! Nuthatches!! Small corms!
Taking it pretty easy we saw the following 63 species:

Brown Pelican - several dozens

Coot - Vance Creek ponds
