OK - a few weeks ago, I offered the ABA list updated to match the latest (7th edition) AOU list.
Well now, I've done that twice better (or at least twice bigger). I can now send to anyone who requests it a spreadsheet with ALL 2008 AOU species with the ABA status and codes for those species on the ABA list...
PLUS the WBRC (Washington Birds Records Committee) status as just published in Washington Birds 6 from the Washington Ornithological Society. This indicates the 442 species that the Committee has determined to have been seen in Washington. (I used a code of 1 for main species, 2 for review species {seen less than 15 times prior to 1989}, 3 for the species on the supplemental list, and blank for not on the WBRC list).
As before, this list contains the Order, Family, Subfamily, Genus, Species, Common Name, and AOU sorting order for each species. Of course, I cannot guarantee accuracy. However, I rebuilt the list from the AOU listing on the web, so there should be few errors if any.
I can send this in Excel format, Works format, as a text file (comma or tab delimited), or as a set of Access database tables, for anyone who can receive attachments with their email. Other formats are possible - ask.
For those who cannot receive attachments, I can send a comma-separated list as a 2000+ line email message.
If you are interested, just let me know what format you'd like the data to be sent in.
