Hello Tweets:

Douglas's Squirrels and Eastern Grays have co-existed in my 3/4-acre yard for
all the years I've lived here, 18 years. The Douglas's try to be dominate, by
chasing the grays, nipping at the grays if both species are at the same
feeder. The Douglas's have young every year. The most I've seen at one time
in my yard is seven. I usually have two to five gray squirrels, and two or
three Douglas's, on average. My back yard is primarily cedar trees and a few
Douglas fir. I enjoy the company of the Douglas's squirrels.
