Dawn and Tweets -

Bell, the resident female of the Pergrines on the Washington Mutual
Tower, is banded. Stuart is not. Bell is larger and has a complete,
distinct hood. Stuart does not show nearly the extension down the side
of the head of the hood. I think it is generally felt that Bell and
Stuart are so territorial about the downtown area that it is unlikely
that any other Peregrine will spend much time in the area. If one did,
it would likely be swiftly chased off by Bell and/or Stuart. I agree, it
must have been a real treat to get a relatively close view of such a
beautiful bird.
