Hi! Was interested in your report because, many years ago in Arizona, I saw a
Great Blue, standing in a pond near Nogales, suddenly leap into the air and go
head down (like the kingfisher!) and come up with a fish! I've never seen
anything like it since but your report brought the experience back to me
vividly. Like you, I wonder if anyone else has seen this behavior. Regards,
