Hi all,
I did a quick walk to Spencer Island today. I found a nice mixed
flock of song birds on the road in. It included one TOWNSEND'S WARBLER
along with Yellow-rumped Warblers, Chickadees, Bushtits, Golden-crowned
and Ruby-crowned Kinglets, Bewick's wren and one Brown Creeper. On the
Island I located a GREAT-HORNED OWL in the alder trees just before you
reach the Barn. Also there were 60+ Long-billed Dowitchers south of the
crossdike. It was a very pretty day.
