One of the most underbirded areas of North America which also makes a habit
of turning up some of these Asian species in small numbers on a regular
basis--and a damn sight closer--is the Queen Charlotte Islands, particularly
around migrant traps, Sandspit and Rose Spit/Naikoon Park. The latter is the
first landfall for birds migrating over ocean straight from Alaska. The
growing list of Sibes appearing there makes it clear that it's Canada's
version of Attu.
