Craig,

I believe they banded a very red Fox Sparrow at the Lucky Peak Bird
Observatory near Boise this fall. If my memory serves me correctly,
the banders, using all sorts of morphological measurements, keyed it
out as a northern BC or Alaskian sub-species of Fox Sparrow. Dave
Trochlell probably can relay more info on this particular sighting...
