A couple of agencies are considering wildlife oriented interpretive
facilities, pull-outs, displays or whatever between Othello and
Nespelem, running up SR17 and along Banks Lake. If you have expertise
or experience along this route and have ideas for specific locations
for pull-outs, interpretive materials, or other wildlife viewing
ideas, let me know and I'll pass it on. An example might be a
pull-out along Lake Lenore where Barrow's Goldeneyes are often visible
with a panel or display discussing cliff cavity nesting.
