Murray,
Woodland Park Zoo is not missing the white storks. They apparently belong to a private breeder from Newcastle.

Think I have some old yarn somewhere--let us know about the sweater and
booties! [Meanwhile, if the bird is in trouble, Woodland Park Zoo says that 2
birds are missing-- I didn't know that captive birds weren't clipped (so they
couldn't fly.)] We have in this area an excellent injured bird specialist and
perhaps someone could notify her if help is needed. Wish I could have seen
this huge bird wandering around a parking lot! Wonder if it's delivered any
babies. (Don't know how to make a smiling face.)
