Tweets,
Noticied a small falcon sized bird perched up in a hemlock outside of our
window this morning, so I went and got my bins. Sure enough a imm. female
Merlin, looking like the Taiga race. She stayed there for about 30 minutes
before finally flying off towards Bitter Lake (It was above the dental
clinic across from Bitter Lake). I was thinking that its probably a bird
that has not found its permanent winter territory yet and may not stick
around due this area is pretty urban with not much habitat.
