Birders,
We braved yet another 100 degree afternoon & relocated the LEWIS' WOODPECKER
on Bateman Island in Richland near the Yakima River Delta. Also found a
RED-NECKED GREBE off the north end of the island. Also 2 GREAT EGRETS were
there.
Water levels were down with lots of mud, but not bunches of shorebirds.

SINCE JULY 1, THERE HAVE ONLY BEEN TEN DAYS WHEN THE HIGH WAS UNDER 87!!!
26 DAYS WERE 97 OR MORE!
