Brian Bell and I had a good morning birding at Marymoor this morning.
Things are changing from the basic summer set. None of these birds nest nor
summer in the park, but were seen today:

Warbling Vireo (2)
Orange-crowned Warbler (2) Also saw last week
Black-throated Gray Warbler (1) Also saw last week
Western Tanager (1) Also saw last week
Lincoln Sparrow (5)

Other interesting observations:

There was a quite young Pied-billed Grebe at the lake platform. We were
almost concerned because it looked too young to take care of itself. Then
we watched it catch and eat 3 fish in the space of 5 minutes. Looks like
its doing fine, actually :)

Empidonax flycatchers were all over and extremely abundant. For the most
part, they looked like Willow Flycatcher, but being silent and in a wide
range of ages, it's really hard to say.

Swainson's Thrush were all over and VISIBLE. They nest at Marymoor, and are
heard in fairly large numbers in the early summer. But seeing them is
another matter. Today we SAW perhaps seven. They were not skulking at all,
but were feeding openly.

200+ Canada Geese, 35+ Killdeer, and 3 Red-tailed Hawks at the grass soccer
fields. Over 40 species total.
