On September 1, 1998 the WA Dept. of Fish and Wildlife will begin a 30-day
public review of the final status reports and listing recommendations for
three species. The purpose of this review is to allow interested people
to comment. The final listing recommendations are:

Fisher from State Candidate to State Endangered
Margined Sculpin from State Candidate to State Sensitive
Pygmy Whitefish from State Candidate to State Sensitive

Status reports will be available September 1 at public libraries or at
http://www.wa.gov/wdfw. Comments on status reports are due on
October 1, 1998. Comments on SEPA documents are due September 16, 1998.
