Yesterday I saw a bird feeding on the ground on seed dropped from my
neighbors feeder upstairs. It was medium-sized with a head, bill, and
long tail shaped like a catbird's. It had a reddish patch on its belly
and a darker brown-colored band around its neck. It was too small to be
any sort of Towhee and had the wrong shaped head and tail to be an
immature Robin. It was feeding by scratching both feet back and forth on
the ground.

Any ideas?
