Birders,
On 9/10/98 a hatch year MAGNOLIA WARBLER & a GRAY CATBIRD
were banded at Cold Springs NWR near Hermiston OR; Umatilla County
by refuge personnel led by Sheri Hedsen.

We tried hard to relocate 9/11 without success.
Anybody that wants directions many contact me. The nets are west of the
intake canal.
We did find: (number are conservative estimates)
1 LEWIS' WOODPECKER
1 HAIRY WOODPECKER (a fairly rare migrant)
1000 KILDEER! (actually tried to count them, lots)
1000 WESTERN SANDPIPERS
