My brother and sister-in-law were here visiting this weekend and we
decided the take them up to the Keller ridge fire lookout tower. It is
23 miles NE of town, elevation is 4800+ feet. As we were going up there
we were pointing out different species of birds to them. My brother saw
a hawk and said "there is a hawk." My sister-in-law (Kathy) said are you
sure?? My brother said ya ya see it right over there! Kathy looked at
him and said "Oh--does that make you a BIRDOLIGIST? We really cracked
up.(I think they have been bit by the birding bug.) :-)

Hey Ruth--you could be known as a Dragonflyoligist. :-) If any one
studies the way Olympia beer is made they would be a Olyoligist.

Oh ya almost forgot, we did see BLUE and RUFF GROUSE, JUNKOS, and one
imm.VARIED THRUSH. From the tower in one hour we saw all three
accipters, one RED TAILED HAWK, and five RAVENS.
