Greetings from N. C. Washington (Bridgeport): Sept. 3rd saw lst =
White-crowned Sparrows in town, and Sept. 5th, lst Juncos. Saw last =
Nighthawks on Sept. llth. In my yard I started getting new birds on =
Sept. l2th: Mt. Chickadee, Cassin's Finch and White-crowned Sparrow. =
Sept. l4th, lst Junco. Today, Sept. l6th my yard list jumped (total of =
l6 species). First-timers included: Song Sparrows, Pine Siskin, and =
lst Towhee. Also, in town today I saw an Am. Pipit in two different =
