Paul Cousins called me last night to report a reported sighting [on Sept.
14] of a "gannet" flying with cormorants inside the Everett "breakwater"
(presumably, Jetty Island). The observer is a recent arrival from the east
coast and reports ruling out white pelican, snow goose, and booby [? how].
It was a large white bird with black on the wings [somewhere]. Who know what
it might have been. Anyone in the area should keep a look out for something
strange.
