A single GREATER WHITE-FRONTED GOOSE was with around 200 Canada Geese on the
grass soccer fields just north of the pea patch at 10:30 this morning.

This is a new bird for our Marymoor list, which now stands at 140 species.

Other interesting sightings:
Pied-billed Grebe Watched an imm. eat a large frog!
Wood Duck Looked like family group on lake
? Sharp-shinned Hawk At least 3 sightings of a young accipiter
Killdeer Large numbers (60-75? more?) with geese
Warbling Vireo At least one
Orange-crowned Warbler Several - more than 5 for sure
Yellow-rumped Warbler Several flocks, some large (i.e. 12)
Lincoln's Sparrow Several seen at 3 locations
White-crowned Sparrow 1 adult and 5 imm.

White-crowns are not normally found at Marymoor during the summer. These
are presumably migrants or wintering birds.

Still a few "summer" birds including 2 Swainson's Thrush, Willow Flycatcher,
and Savannah Sparrow.

Large numbers of Cedar Waxwing and House Finch.

All told, I had 41 species today.
