At the Shilshole Bay Marina today I saw what I think was a breeding
plumage Marbled Murrelet. I've looked through my books and I don't know
what else it could be. Brown back, cream mottled/barred underparts. I'm
open to suggestions for other options. There was also a large (50+)
flock of Common Terns circling over the channel entrance to the ship
canal. Both were seen from the public "A" pier.
