Subject: Franklin's Gull in Everett

I stopped by the Everett sewage ponds for a brief visit early this
afternoon. There was an immature Franklin's Gull among about 200
Bonaparte's Gulls on the large pond on the north side of the road.

It is too bad someone can't come up with a way and funding to build an
observation tower from which to scan the ponds. The blackberries are so
high the only way to see the birds is through chain link fences.
