After hearing (and reading) Alan Knue's report on Discovery Park I
visited Sunday afternoon and couldn't locate the Blue Jay, Lewis's
Woodpecker or Northern Mockingbird but I did see a Nashville Warbler in
the trees near the restrooms by the North Bluff. Also saw 10+ Flickers
(both yellow and red) and 10-15 Hermit Thrushes.

I returned Monday morning about 8:00 am and went from the North Bluff
down towards the lighthouse. In the Poplar trees right next to the
lighthouse was a flock of 25-30 Steller's Jays and 1 Blue Jay. From
there the flock flew south and up the bluff. (they seem to be covering
the entire park). Thanks to Alan for the great report.
