Well, better late than never....on Thu., 9/10-Sat., 9/12 I took a trip
up north to the Frasier River delta. Birding time was spent mostly at
Reifel bird sanctuary where the pickings were rather slim. I think it
was too early in the year for much action up there but anyway:

Martin--the Pied-Billed Grebes I saw were loners---they were mostly
still in summer plumage and very shy.
