Sideways related to birds.

I am looking for information on wetland losses in Washington State. Acreage
comparison pre-white settlers to today. Percentage loss etc. It relates to
habitat loss (for breeding Pied-billed Grebes in this case).

Can anybody point me to a reference or chat group or person?
