Heard/saw year's first Varied Thrush in the wooded hillside edge along
SR 509 in Northeast Tacoma on 09/19/98. Looking back over my records,
this seems to be fairly consistant with previous years' sightings.
Always a joy to hear/see these beautiful birds.
