Can't resist this beautiful weather. Took a short ride this am.
Just south of Electric City, as we were crossing the causeway, Jerry
spotted two BELTED KINGFISHERS (M & F) chasing each other around.
Four TURKEY VULTURES were out cruising over the pond by the golf course.
There were a lot of WHITE CROWNED SPARROWS and YELLOW RUMPED WARBLERS
in the bushes.
We accidentally scared a GREAT HORNED OWL out of his roosting place.
There were RING-NECKED DUCKS, AMERICAN WIGEON and lots of COOTS in the
pond.
It was 83 degrees here today, but the weather man says that will change
soon.
