Greetings Tweeters,

Today was a fun day to be stuck at home waiting for deliveries, etc.... We
have a waterfall in our landscape that is ~35' long with an elevation drop
of about 12'....and as fun as it is, it's been fun seeing what the birds
think about it.

This afternoon, in a 10 minute timeframe from 3:25pm - 3:35pm, this water
feature had visiting it for baths/drinks:

EVENING GROSBEAKS (17!)
DARK-EYED JUNCOS (4)
STELLARS JAY (8)
PINE SISKIN (2)
AMERICAN GOLDFINCH (2)
HOUSE FINCH (6)
and the real new "waterfall lifer"....
RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKER (1)

I've had many birds drop by it from feeding areas all summer, but this has
never happened in these volumns before.

Oh, we had four RED-BREASTED SAPSUCKERS in our Western Red Cedars at the
edge of the woods for almost 45 minutes earlier in the afternoon...never had
more than three at a time before.
