Hi Tweets,
Belatedly--
Michael Beck and I took our lunches yesterday into the vacant field beside
the office building in southeast central Richmond BC where we saw two Common
Ravens Corvus corax, highly unusual for that area, which is mostly flat
aglands well away from the mountains. While we were headed back to the
grind, we spotted two southbound Turkey Vultures Cathartes aura high overhead.
I don't think these are coincidental sightings: I think the ravens were just
as southbound as the vultures, although we don't usually think of them as
being migratory.
Michael Price A brave world, Sir,
Vancouver BC Canada full of religion, knavery and change;
mprice at mindlink.net we shall shortly see better days.
