I will be visiting New Mexico in late May. The proposed itinerary includes
a Santa Fe to El Paso, TX drive, and I am looking for neat birding and
general natural history sites. Reference books and some advice has
already put Bosque del Apache NWR and Bandalier NM on the list, as well
as Audubon sites in Santa Fe, Albuquerque, and El Paso (Where I have
has great success in the past.) Do people have
any other recommendations? Of course, I'll also accept advice on food stops
and good spots to run energy off of small children.
