In September of 1984, I unwittingly transported the Hobo's much larger
cousin Tegenaria gigantea - a male - from Vancouver, BC to Fort Nelson,
BC, a distance of 1000 statute miles. I doubt that it could have
survived the cold continental winter of NE BC after I threw it out of
the pot it had climbed into before I packed up for the move. But then
you never know.....
