nancy <Nladenbe at aol.com> asked;

"While in Southern
Florida this past January we were told we saw what sounded like a "Miterd
Conure". I have been unable to find it in any of my guides, Venezuela, Costa
Rica, Trinidad/Tobago, Mexico and even Australia."

is this the bird that you saw/heard?

if so, it is a south american parrot, found in peru, bolivia and
in parts of argentina (mostly in mountainous regions).
